We are honored and humbled at the warmth, friendship and dedicated support that you have shown us throughout the years.  This will be our 18th year of operating Pelican Joe’s Donuts at the State Fair of Virginia, and we could not have done this without you!

You can almost smell them cooking now! These tasty donuts made from soy and wheat flour make their journey down this river of soybean oil and drop into the bin where they cool just enough to be topped with your favorite coating.

September 27 - October 6

Meadow Event Park - Doswell, VA

This year’s State Fair of Virginia will once again take place at the Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia.  The fairgrounds are located on Route 30, in Caroline County, Virginia, near the King’s Dominion Theme Park.  Meadow Event Park is easy to get to, has convenient parking and is a perfect location to enjoy the sights, sounds and activities associated with a world-class State Fair.  For further information, follow this link to the State Fair of Virginia!  We’ll be waiting for you in the grey building at the top of the hill, across from the mansion, near Heritage Village, the giant pumpkins and the kids rides.

This year, our friends who are official card holding members of the Virginia Farm Bureau will receive a free cup of coffee from Pelican Joes Donuts!  All you need to do is to show your card and ask for a free cup of the best coffee at the State Fair of Virginia!

2024 State Fair of Virginia September 27 - October 6, 2024
The State Fair of Virginia will go on as planned this year!  Pelican Joe’s Donuts has been accepted as a vendor and will be back in our normal space in the Meadow Pavilion building.  With any luck, the weather will be perfect for everyone to enjoy all of the fun activities, shows, demonstrations, animals and of course your favorite food!  We will do the best that we can to provide any important or noteworthy updates on this site, via our Facebook page Pelican Joe’s Donuts or or through our Twitter account @PelicanJoes. We look forward to seeing all of our friends soon for another fun-filled fair.
